Becoming a Courier

Dedicated volunteers are the key to success for fundraising organizations. Giving your time to help raise money could save the life of someone across town, or around the world. Becoming a Courier is another way to donate your time to those in need. A Bone Marrow Courier will donate their time to travel and pick up the donated stem cells or bone marrow and transport it to the individual in need. A match can come from anywhere in the world, and it is vital to collect it in time. Becoming a Courier is another way to help in this process of saving lives. If you would like to get involved please email us:  dsoc@rogers.com

There has been recent policy changes for the Ottawa Chapter; a Courier must now be an Ottawa Chapter member.  This membership application form will be shared once the Courier training Registration  form is received.

Applications for Courier Training are being suspended until further notice.  We are now at full capacity to meet our workload for the next two years.  It would be unfair to continue accepting applications without the likelihood of being trained during this period.  If you are interested in having your name added to our Potential Courier Training list, please complete the Registration form as noted above and send it to this email address.  We will confirm receipt of your Training Registration form and place your name on a waiting list.  We do not anticipate having another training session till the spring of 2019.
